In order to define its sphere of operations, FUNSALUD has carried out fourteen state-of-the-art studies on diverse health problems. The studies identified certain opportunities and their technical, economic, social and political feasibility.

FUNSALUD’s activities support both the consolidation of Mexico’s research infrastructure as well as areas of research regarding certain health problems that affect risk groups or cause a significant burden on the population’s health conditions. The studies generate materials of social importance and, in some measure, contribute to resolving adverse health conditions.
