The private sector recognizes FUNSALUD’s role as an independent center for critical opinion, sustained by scientific knowledge, on important health issues. The main objective is to reach higher levels of health for the entire Mexican population, even though the institution’s main objective is to promote policies and activities that encourage greater participation of the private sector and civil society in general towards the health system, always in a manner that complements government actions.
